The Memory Game
Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Duration: 15 minutes
Ingredients needed: List of questions, paper and pens
Description: There are lots of variations for this game; the most basic one is this: Have the bride leave the room, then ask the guests a series of questions, based on what the bride is wearing and about the bride's history. Then the bride returns to answer the questions. The guest with the most correct answers wins.
How to get ready: For the most part, the preparation is simple. Write down a series of questions (there's a list below) based on what the bride might be wearing. Add a few about the history of the bride and groom. You might want to ask her these before hand, or check with her mom or the groom. Then have a place prepared for the bride to wait!
Helpful stuff: Below is a list of questions you can use - but feel free to add your own!
What color top is the bride wearing?
What color shoes is the bride wearing?
How is she wearing her hair?
Is she wearing her engagement ring?
Is she wearing earrings?
What is her middle name?
Where did she meet the groom?
Where are they going on their honeymoon?
Where was she born?
Where was the groom born?
Variations: You could also do more of a history of the Bride and Groom - get the information from their parents or from them before the shower, then include the Bride in on the game. This requires a bit more preparation, but it can be fun - at my own shower, I missed some questions about my husband-to-be! See the Baby Shower Memory Tray game for more memory game ideas.
