Make-A-Word

Preparation Time:  5 min

Duration:  15 min

Ingredients needed: Paper and pens

Description: The Bride's new name is the subject here - her new full name.  Given the letters in her new name - how many words of 4 letters or more can the guests make?

How to get ready:  This is a simple game to prepare for.  Simply have the correct spelling of the Bride's new name - make sure you know if it's going to be hyphenated or not.  Then give the guests paper and pens and 5 or 10 minutes to find as many words of 4 letters or more as they can.  Once they're done, have the first guest read her list out loud.  All the words she reads that anyone else has are not counted.  When she's done, the next guest with a word that was not already list reads hers, and so on around the room.  Whoever has the most unique words wins.

These rules are based on the standard Spill&Spell ® rules.

Helpful stuff:   You might want to write the Bride's name on large piece of paper for everyone to reference.

Fun Stuff:  After you've read out all the words, you might find out who has the longest word, or the funniest and give a small prize for that too.  Or, for a bachelorette party or a rowdy group, make them try to find dirty words!
