Cotton Ball Game

Preparation Time:  15 Minutes

Duration:  5-20 Minutes

Ingredients needed: A bag of cotton balls, large bowl, spoon, blindfold, plate, timer

This is a coordination game.  Each guest is blindfolded, then given the spoon and a bowl full of cotton balls.  Holding the spoon by the handle only, the guests have one minute to scoop as many cotton balls out of the bowl onto the plate as they can.

Preparation

This is a simple game to get ready for.  Get a large bag of cotton balls and dump them into the bowl.  You should probably try to separate the individual balls - they tend to stick together.  Have a large spoon - like a soup spoon - nearby and a blindfold.  Put the guest at a table, with a plate near the bowl.  Blind fold the guest, then start the timer!

Each guest has about one minute to scoop out the cotton balls.  Remember, they can't use their fingers or hands to touch the cotton balls, just the spoon.

Helpful Stuff

Because this is a one-person at a time game, this is probably better for a smaller shower.  Or you could do teams - several people piling cotton balls.

Encourage the other guests to behave as if there are a bunch of cotton balls on the spoon, so the guest thinks they've got it made.  Ok, that's a little mean, but it makes the game more fun!
